Moisture under sealant is costing me hours of rework
I sealed up a quarter panel without checking for dampness. A week later, bubbles showed up in the paint. Had to strip it all back and start over. Double-check your surfaces are completely dry before any sealant goes on.

Rushing a step to save five minutes ends up wasting a whole day. I see it all the time, like when people skip sanding before a paint job or don't tape off edges properly. It's that same urge to just get it done now that makes you forget to check the forecast before a car wash. The shortcut always finds a way to bite you later.

That quarter panel bubble drama is why I trust moisture about as far as I can throw it. It always lurks in the last place you check, just to ruin your week. Jamieknight is spot on about shortcuts biting you, because that five-minute skip turned into a full strip-down. You just earned a lifetime membership to the "check twice, seal once" club.
