Primed a fender with rattle can epoxy and the paint wrinkled 2 hours later
I was doing a quick respray on a 2011 Civic out in Fresno and grabbed some hardware store epoxy primer to save time on a Thursday job. Two hours after topcoat, the whole panel wrinkled up like a dried out lake bed, and my boss asked if I sprayed it in the sun. Turns out the primer needed way more flash time before sanding, so what flash times are you all running with rattle can primers before you lay color?
Yikes, that Civic just got a free desert texture upgrade huh. I usually give rattle can primer a full day if I can, that stuff lies about its flash time when it is hot out.
