So I walked into a body shop in Phoenix and the color match was off by a country mile
I stopped by Casey's Auto Body on 7th Street last week to drop off a bumper for my neighbor and I swear the paint they mixed for a 2017 Honda Civic was closer to a sunset orange than the factory red. The guy behind the counter said 'it'll blend in' but idk, it looked pretty bad under the shop lights. Has anyone else had a shop try to rush a color match like that?

Did you ever take it back to them? I had pretty much the same thing happen at a shop off Cave Creek Road and after I told them to hold off on the paint I went to a different place that actually matched it spot on using the VIN code... sometimes you just gotta trust your eyes over their promises.
