Wait, nobody's said the quiet part. Those chats forced you both to be decent. You had to look someone in the eye and say "my bad" or hear their sorry. Now it's just a photo dumped online so a bunch of strangers can trash the owner without ever having to face them. Forums make it way too easy to be a jerk.
