That 'fast-dry' clear coat from the new supplier left a haze on a black hood

Followed the tech sheet exactly in 70% humidity and it still clouded up. Anyone know a better clear for humid summer work?

Honestly, "followed the tech sheet exactly" is always the kiss of death. That haze is basically the clear coat's way of saying it hates summer. Might as well have used hairspray.

Following the tech sheet is a good start, but it's just a baseline. The sheet doesn't know your shop's humidity or that it's 95 degrees outside. That haze @skylerc86 mentioned is usually from the clear drying too fast in the heat. You have to slow it down with a longer flash time or a slower reducer. Blaming the tech sheet misses the point of adjusting for real world conditions.
