Oh man, that's rough. Is it just me or does that kind of thing feel like it happens at the worst possible time? I really feel for your buddy, having to redo everything from scratch sounds like a nightmare. It's one of those situations where you just want to throw your hands up and walk away for a bit. Hope he's got some good coffee on hand for the fix.
