Hit 10,000 oil changes and still surprised by what I see
I hit 10,000 oil changes last Tuesday on a 2014 Civic that had sludge so bad it looked like pudding. Even after all that work, customers still skip changes for 8 months and wonder why their engines knock. Anybody else keep count of how many you've done over the years?

lol @lilyo30 you're not wrong. It's like the universe is just waiting for you to get comfortable and then throws a curveball. I've noticed it in everything from planning a quiet weekend to thinking your car is finally running smooth. Every time I don't bother counting or keeping track, things just have a way of working out better. That quiet confidence seems to keep the bad luck away.
