Hit 200k miles on my 2007 Corolla last Tuesday, still on the original clutch
Rolled over 200,000 miles driving back from a job in Akron last Tuesday. I bought this thing with 61k on it back in 2013 and the only big repairs have been a water pump and one wheel bearing. My service writer keeps telling me to trade it in but I want to see how far it goes. Curious what the highest mileage car is that any of you still turn wrenches on.
Buddy of mine had an old Civic that rolled past 400k and the speedometer quit at 299,999 so he just guessed after that. Thing burned a quart of oil every 500 miles and the paint was mostly rust but he refused to let it die. He drove it to his own wedding with a cardboard sign taped to the back that said just married and 400k. Wife was not thrilled but the car outlasted the marriage by like three years. Keep yours going, that Corolla will probably bury us all.
