Talked to an old timer at the parts counter yesterday

He said he never uses impact guns on lug nuts, just a torque wrench by hand. Made me realize I've been overtightening everything for 8 years. Has anyone else switched back to hand tools for certain jobs?

Nah, is it really that deep though? I just crank it til it feels right and move on.
