Was dead set against those fancy digital torque wrenches for years

Finally caved and bought a Snap-on one after stripping a bolt on a BMW valve cover last month, and now I can't believe I wasted all that time with the click type, anyone else have a tool they swore was overpriced junk until they actually used it?

I used to think the same about digital torque wrenches, but you changed my mind.

Wait, hold on. Digital torque wrenches? Like the ones that beep at you and show numbers on a screen? I've been living under a rock, I guess. I didn't even know those were a thing for regular folks.

Wait, did I seriously argue with my buddy for an hour that click torque wrenches were "good enough" while he was already tightening bolts with perfect precision? Yeah, I'm that guy who had to learn the hard way that sometimes spending money saves your knuckles and your sanity.
