Now they ask to help with small parts when I bring work home.

Actually, you bring resistors home from work? I could never trust myself not to lose tiny parts like that in the couch or a carpet. My own kids would have them everywhere in five minutes flat.

Back in my college dorm, I dropped a whole pack of micro LEDs. They bounced under the bed and mixed with dust bunnies, never to be seen again. Now I keep anything smaller than a penny in sealed containers, lesson learned.
