Had a solid week where nothing went wrong for once

After three straight days of troubleshooting a faulty radar altimeter on a CRJ, I finally found it was just a corroded pin in the connector. Swapped it out and the test passed on the first go. Anyone else have those rare days where the fix is actually the simple thing?

Jumped on a simple fix like that once with an engine sensor issue. Turned out a wire had just worked itself loose over time. Tightened it up and everything ran smooth again. Makes you wonder why we always expect the worst when it's usually something dumb.

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't call a corroded pin "nothing going wrong" - sounds like it took three days to track down which is its own kind of problem. @wade_hall got lucky with a loose wire but that's not really the same as a pin you actually have to go hunting for. idk, sometimes the simple fix still cost you a bunch of time to find.
