Picked a used Fluke 87V over a brand new Klein meter for my bench

I had to decide between a used Fluke 87V I found on Craigslist for $150 and a brand new Klein MM700 at the supply house. The Klein was $120 but the Fluke had that true RMS and better build quality. I grabbed the Fluke and ran it through a week of troubleshooting nav aids and autopilot units. So far it's dead on and feels like it'll last forever. Anyone else go with an older used meter over a new one and regret it?

My old Fluke 27 from the 90s still reads within spec, while a buddy's newer Klein drifted after two years of light use. That 87V will probably outlive your bench.

Did you see any drift on the Klein compared to a known reference?
