Question about switching to heat shrink labels for wire marking
I was dead set against using heat shrink labels for years. Thought adhesive wrap around tags were fine, even if they kept peeling off in the Gulfstreams I work on. Then I borrowed a guy's Brady label maker for a week and tried it on a messy harness job. After 3 flights no peeling, no fading. Anyone else make the switch and find a brand that actually sticks?

Have you tried the cold-shrink tubes for tight spaces instead?

Ask @gavine41 if those cold-shrink tubes hold up in wet conditions though, because I've had mixed luck with them in older junction boxes. My main worry is they might not seat right in really tight spots where the surface has any corrosion or crud built up. Worth a test on a scrap piece first if you got one handy.
