Senior guy told me to stop using anti-seize on every connector
Was putting together a harness for a G1000 install and an old avionics tech walked by and said all that anti-seize attracts dust and can mess up grounds. Switched to just dielectric grease on the o-rings and nothing on the pins. Any of you guys run into problems with anti-seize causing intermittent faults later on?

Had a buddy use anti-seize on his truck's trailer harness. Dusted up and caused flickering lights within months.

Read somewhere that dielectric grease is the better call for electrical connections since it actually seals out moisture and dust. Anti-seize has conductive particles in it that can mess with the circuit over time, especially on those sensitive trailer light pins. Might be worth telling your buddy to swap over to dielectric grease before he has to replace the whole harness.
