That $200 tablet I bought for wiring diagrams was a total waste
I picked up a cheap 10-inch tablet for looking up aircraft wiring diagrams on the go, thinking it would save me time. Cost me about $200, and after 3 months the battery started swelling and the screen got all glitchy. Now I just print out the pages I need before I start a job, it's way more reliable. Anyone else get burned by a so-called "field tool" that just couldn't handle the hangar conditions?

Did you try sticking it in the fridge to cool the battery down... I've heard that works great until it doesn't?

Oh man, that's rough. It's one of those tricks that totally makes sense until you learn the hard way why it doesn't.
