Took me 3 years to finally nail a 737 pitot static test on the first try

Been working on 737s out of Seattle for a while now. Last week I had a pitot static test on a -800 that usually gives me trouble, but this time it passed first run with zero leaks. Three years ago my first solo attempt on these systems took me 4 hours and three re-rigs before it held pressure. I think what finally clicked was taking more time on the hose connections and using a better sealant around the static ports. Anyone else have a system that took them forever to get consistent with?

The cuss jar money probably bought you a nice lunch.
