Vent: That Learjet in Dallas last week made me recheck every crimp I've ever done

Ngl, I was swapping out a nav antenna on a 35A at Love Field and found a crimp that looked fine but just pulled apart with my fingers. Some guy from the 90s must have been having a bad day. Now I'm going back through my last 10 jobs and tug-testing everything. Has anyone else caught a bad batch of terminal pins from a certain supplier?

Wait, how common is this actually though? I've been doing avionics for like 8 years and never had a terminal just fall apart like that. Maybe it was just a one-off thing from a bad batch or something. I mean, every couple years someone gets spooked by a story and then everyone starts checking everything like crazy. The stats don't really back up that it's some huge widespread problem. Could also be a tool calibration issue or just a guy having a bad Monday rather than some massive supply chain failure.
