Warning: The humidity control in the avionics bay at KPDX is totally off

I was doing a diagnostic run at the Portland airport hangar last Tuesday and noticed the hygrometer in the avionics bay was reading 78%. That's way above the 40-60% range we need for the sensitive stuff. Been seeing corrosion on a few connectors lately, and I think this is the reason. Has anyone else run into this issue in their facilities?

Is 78% the new standard for "smart humidifiers" or just Portland testing out its own weather indoors? Honestly at that point you might as well stick some ferns in there and call it a terrarium. Hope your connectors have a good therapist lined up.

Oh jeez, that's bad. Ngl 78% humidity is basically a swimming pool for electronics.
