Honestly, I always thought the John Muir Trail was way longer than the Pacific Crest Trail section it overlaps.

Ngl, I just read a trail guide that said the JMT is actually 211 miles, while the PCT section from Yosemite to Whitney Portal it shares is over 260 miles, which totally flipped my view on planning a Sierra trip.
