A neighbor showed me a trick for keeping starlings off my feeder

Last month I was complaining about starlings cleaning out my suet feeder in 20 minutes. My neighbor Mike from two doors down said to try a caged suet feeder with smaller openings. I switched to one last week and the starlings barely touch it now. Has anyone else tried this or found something that works better?

funny how once you fix one thing everything else adjusts too

Oh man, honestly I used to think those caged feeders were just a gimmick. I was totally wrong though. After fighting with starlings for months I finally tried one and it's night and day difference. Ngl, @lee.lucas is right about everything adjusting too once you fix the main problem. Now the chickadees and nuthatches actually get a turn at the suet.
