Hit 50 different species in my yard and I'm a bit freaked out

I've been keeping a list of birds that visit my feeder setup for about 2 years now and last week I crossed 50 species total. That just seems like a crazy number for a regular suburban lot with no creek or anything special nearby. What's the highest species count you've recorded in your own yard and how long did it take you?

Bet that number includes a few escapees or released pets @mark_hernandez12 counted wrong.

50 species is impressive for a regular suburban yard, but you might be surprised how common that is once you really get going. I'm at 63 species in my own yard over about 3 years, and I don't have any water feature either. The key is to mix up your feeders and add different seed types, plus keep a small brush pile for cover. Warblers love it during migration just as much as cardinals do. Have you tried putting out mealworms or a tiny water dish to attract more diversity?
