Just realized my 'squirrel proof' feeder is a total joke

Last week in my yard in Tacoma, I watched a gray squirrel hang upside down from the baffle for a solid 10 minutes, just emptying the whole thing. I spent like $40 on this thing last month thinking it would finally save my sunflower seeds. Now the chickadees and finches just sit in the lilac bush looking annoyed while the squirrels have a buffet. Anyone found a feeder that actually works against those little acrobats?

Try the Yankee Flipper. It spins them off when they grab it. Looks ridiculous but works. Mine runs on batteries.

My friend in Bellingham had a squirrel that learned to jump from her fence post, like a tiny furry trapeze artist, to completely bypass the pole baffle. It would land right on the feeder roof every single time. She finally gave up and just started putting out a cheap tray of corn on the ground far from the feeder, which sort of works as a distraction. The birds get the good stuff now, but the squirrels still get a free meal.

Totally feel you, my baffle's a joke too lol. @joseph_hart's flipper idea sounds perfect.
