Just wasted $80 on a bird camera that can't see past 15 feet
I ordered one of those fancy wifi cams from Amazon after seeing all the hype, figured it'd be perfect for catching the cardinals near my feeder setup in the back corner. Turns out the night vision is basically useless and the motion alert only triggers if a bird is basically touching the lens. My feeders sit maybe 20 feet from the house, so I got nothing but blurry raccoon toes for two weeks. Anyone else have luck with a cheaper trail cam instead, or should I just stick to binoculars?
