Wait, you started with cheap craft paint on a birdhouse? That stuff usually peels off after one rainstorm around here, I can't believe they actually stayed on long enough for birds to notice. But hey, exterior-grade paint makes all the difference in the world, I switch to it for anything that sits outside more than a week.
