That $40 heated birdbath was a total game changer this winter.

Bought it online in November. Kept the water from freezing solid for weeks. Saw way more robins and sparrows than usual. Anyone else try something like this?

My neighbor got one of those last year. Honestly, she had this whole crew of blue jays that would show up every morning like clockwork. Even saw a woodpecker stop by once, which was wild for her backyard. It was pretty cool to watch from her kitchen window.

But honestly it sounds like a huge mess waiting to happen. All that bird seed just attracts rats and squirrels too, not just pretty birds. You end up with a bigger pest problem than you started with.
