That one april morning last year when the warblers just showed up

I had a week last spring where I saw like 12 species I'd never spotted in my yard before, including a hooded warbler that hung around for three days. Still have no idea what made that particular week so special but I check the app way more now hoping it'll happen again. Anyone else have a random week that blew their backyard list out of the water?

But don't you think it could just be coincidence and not some special magic week? I had a similar experience once but later realized the weather patterns just pushed birds into my area for a few days. It was still AWESOME but I try not to overthink the timing.

Idk, I feel like even with the weather explanation it's still kind of a cool reminder to pay attention to the small stuff. Maybe that's the real magic, just noticing more patterns than we usually do.
