Took a chance on a cheap suet cake, now the yard is a woodpecker diner
I usually stick to the name brand stuff from the feed store, but last week I grabbed a generic suet block at the grocery for like $2. The downy woodpeckers went through it in 3 days, way faster than the pricier ones. Anyone else find the budget options work better sometimes?

yeah the cheap ones go fast cause they're softer, the birds hit em quicker but it costs less so it evens out.
