Had to pick between a plastic tub and a wooden coop for my first 4 hens last spring.

I went with the wooden one because it looked nicer but now I'm kicking myself every time I have to scrub out the roost bars and bedding from the corners, has anyone else regretted going for looks over easy cleaning?

Plastic tubs get gross from condensation buildup with no airflow and can basically cook your hens in summer if the sun hits it wrong, wooden coops breathe way better even if they're a pain to clean.

Doesn't the plastic also make a weird echo chamber that spooks jumpy birds?
