That weird gap under the coop door was a bigger problem than I realized
For months I couldn't figure out why I was losing so much feed to sparrows and mice. I finally measured the gap, it was a full inch and a half, and a simple strip of rubber garage door seal fixed it in five minutes. What's your go-to fix for keeping small pests out of the feed area?

Honestly I've given up on trying to seal everything perfectly. I just keep my feed in a metal bin with a tight lid now. The mice always find a way in anyway.

My neighbor's mice chewed through a plastic storage tote last month, so metal is definitely the move.

Yeah @spencer199, the metal bin is smart. I mean maybe they're chewing tiny holes in the bag itself before you even put it away.
