Update: My broody hen's eggs are taking forever to hatch

My Silkie hen has been sitting on a nest for almost four weeks now. I marked the start date and we're past the usual 21-day mark. I checked them with a flashlight and the eggs look good, with veins visible. But there's no sign of pipping or any noise from inside. I'm starting to worry if something is wrong. Should I try to help them hatch or just keep waiting it out? This patience game is harder than I thought.

Is it really though? I get what cole_patel14 said about anticipation being a killer, but sometimes the actual thing is way worse. Like waiting for bad news is horrible, but getting the bad news is the actual worst part, you know? Have you ever been so stressed waiting that the real problem felt like a letdown?
