Dropped $400 on a used chipper/shredder at a garage sale in Fresno, and it's the best money I've spent on the yard
Turns out the guy just never changed the oil, cleaned the carb and it runs like new for my fall cleanup. Anyone else find a deal like that, or did I just get lucky?

Wait, the guy never changed the oil and it still runs? That's wild, I figured those small engines would be toast after that kind of neglect. Cleaning the carb probably did most of the work, but you still came out way ahead at that price.
