Had to pick between gravel and mulch for the path in my side yard

I spent 3 hours at Lowe's going back and forth on this. Gravel was cheaper at $45 a bag but mulch would have been easier on my knees when I kneel to weed. Went with mulch because the neighbor warned me gravel gets everywhere and he was right after I helped him sweep his patio last summer. Anyone else deal with this choice?

Wait, did you just say three hours? That is insane, I can't even focus on one thing that long without checking my phone like fifty times. Unless they have the worst internet ever or something thats way too long to waste.
