I finally got my shaded garden path right after 3 tries with different gravel blends

Went to a local botanic garden in Atlanta last fall and noticed their paths used a 50/50 mix of pea gravel and decomposed granite, which actually stays put in the rain, so I copied it at home and now my stepping stones don't sink anymore - has anyone else had trouble with gravel washing away on a slight slope?

Did you try adding stabilizer to that blend?
