The day I figured out I was planting bulbs upside down
Took me three falls of wondering why my tulips only grew leaves before my neighbor's kid laughed and pointed out the pointy end goes up. Have you ever done something like that for way too long without thinking?

My neighbor's six year old was the one who showed me the pointy end on bulbs too, hurts twice as bad when a kid has to explain it. Three years is honestly impressive dedication to being wrong, you must have some really confused soil by now. At least your leaves were top notch though, that's a solid base for next year's embarrassment.
