Celebrating a Slight Victory: My Sourdough Didn't Die

I was in my tiny kitchen last Tuesday and forgot to feed my starter for THREE days straight. I thought it was a goner but it bounced back with a double rise after two feedings. Anyone else had a starter that just refuses to quit on you?
