Just had a regular customer compliment my sourdough crumb

I've been baking out of my home kitchen in Columbus for about 8 months now, selling at a tiny weekend stall. Last Saturday this older guy comes up and says my loaf had the best texture he's had since his grandma used to bake in the 60s. Has anyone else had a comment from a stranger that just made your whole month?

My friend Jenna runs a little pop-up bakery in Cincinnati and she had this guy come up to her stall like six months ago. He took one bite of her honey oatmeal bread and just stood there for a second. Then he told her it reminded him of the bread his mom used to make every Sunday morning before she passed away. Jenna said he had tears in his eyes and she almost started crying too right there at her table. She still talks about that moment whenever someone asks why she started baking. It stuck with her because it wasn't just about the bread tasting good. It was about giving someone back a memory they thought they lost. That kind of feedback is gold compared to any money she makes.

That's a sweet story and all, but I'm not sure it's really that serious @irisw73. A good loaf of bread is nice, but giving someone a memory doesn't exactly pay the bills.
