My aunt swore by her bread machine but I thought it was cheating

She gave me her old Oster last fall and after 8 months of fighting with it, I finally got a perfect sourdough loaf that came out better than anything I've ever done by hand - what's your take on using machines for baking?

Wait isn't it wild how much easier it makes things once you figure it out? I got my mom's old Zojirushi last year and now my sourdough comes out way better than anything I ever did by hand, plus I don't have to babysit it all day. Totally changed my mind about them being cheating.
