Took 45 minutes to figure out my oven was running 25 degrees hot
I kept wondering why my cake layers were doming so bad. Pulled out a separate thermometer after my third batch and sure enough the dial was way off. Has anyone else had their oven temp drift like that over time?

@finley_lopez98 yeah I used to think my baking just sucked but now I know my oven was the liar all along.

Makes you wonder how many other people are out there just blaming their baking skills when the oven is the real problem, doesn't it? I went through the same thing for months until my wife finally bought a cheap thermometer. Now I never trust the built in gauge on any appliance. How long did you have the oven before you noticed the temp drifting like that?
