Hot take: I think the 'dump everything in one bowl' method gets way too much hate

Was making chocolate chip cookies last Sunday in my tiny apartment kitchen, and I was out of counter space because of three dirty dishes piling up. So I just dumped the flour, sugar, eggs, and chips into one big bowl and mixed it all at once, no creaming butter or sifting anything. The cookies came out a little dense and flat, sure, but they still tasted great and I saved myself 20 minutes of mess. Am I the only one who thinks perfectly fluffy texture is overrated if you just want a quick treat?

Wait, hold up - "no creaming the butter"? Thats like... baking sacrilege or something. You just straight up ignored the foundation of cookie chemistry? The creaming step is like the only reason butter and sugar make cookies fluffy instead of sad pancakes. But honestly, I kinda respect the chaos. Dense cookies still taste good, especially if you dunk em in milk. And 20 minutes of cleanup saved in a tiny apartment? That's a win in my book. The thing is, I can't stop thinking about those three dirty dishes though. Were they just sitting there judging you while you mixed? My kitchen is small too and that visual of dishes piled up while you wild out with no creaming is lowkey hilarious. Anyway, your cookies your rules. I might try this with brownies but maybe not with cookies. The texture thing is a gamble I'm not ready for yet.

Right? I did the same thing last week and honestly couldn't tell the difference.
