My sourdough starter got named Kevin by a stranger at the farmers market

I was at the farmers market in Columbus last month selling my discard crackers, and this older guy walks up and asks what my starter's name is. I told him I never named it, and he just said, "Well, he looks like a Kevin to me," and then spent five minutes giving me tips on how to make the crust crispier. I actually tried his trick of putting a cast iron pan with water in the oven while it bakes, and it totally changed my loaf game. Has anyone else gotten weird unsolicited advice from a stranger that ended up being actually useful?

And the cast iron water trick works even better if you use ice cubes instead, it makes a wild steam burst that gives you that super glossy crust. Kevin sounds like a solid name for a starter that produces good crackers, honestly. Glad the weird farmers market wisdom paid off for you.
