Pie crust stuck so bad I had to chisel it out with a butter knife

Tried making a apple pie last Saturday and the crust welded itself to my grandma's old glass dish. Ended up serving chunks of pie with ice cream and calling it a 'rustic crumble' to save face. Anyone else ever have a pan that just refuses to let go?

Oh nah, I gotta disagree here. That "rustic crumble" move is genius, not dramatic. You salvaged a disaster and made it sound intentional, that's what we all do in the kitchen. I've had pies stick so bad I had to soak the pan for two days and still lost chunks of crust. It's not like you burned it to charcoal, you just had a sticky situation. Plus ice cream fixes pretty much anything, so really you turned a fail into a win.

rustic crumble" sounds like you're making this a bigger deal than it needs to be
