Swapped my glass loaf pan for a metal one after 10 years

Always used glass for banana bread. Got sick of the soggy bottom every time. Finally tried a cheap metal pan last week and it came out perfect. Anyone else stick with one pan type forever because that's just what you're used to?

I used to be a glass loaf diehard until about two years ago. Thought metal would burn the crust or something. First time I tried a 9x5 metal pan the whole thing cooked even, no dark edges, and the bottom wasn't a wet mess. Made me feel stupid for waiting so long.

See @the_skyler I still swear by glass, metal always gives me a weird metallic taste in my bread.
