Tried a new cookie recipe and my oven said nope
I was making chocolate chip cookies last Tuesday for my kids' playdate and decided to try a recipe that said to bake at 400 instead of 350. The bottoms came out totally black while the tops were still raw dough. Has anyone else had an oven that runs way hotter than the dial says?

Maybe your thermostat sensor needs cleaning, happens way more than people realize.
