Just found out my bank charges $35 for a paper statement

I was looking through my monthly fees last night and noticed a $35 charge labeled 'paper statement fee.' I called them and they said it's been in their terms since 2022. Has anyone else gotten hit with this out of nowhere?

That's wild they just quietly added that in 2022 and hope nobody notices. I'd be checking if they also slipped in any other fees while you weren't looking. Did you ask them if they can reverse it or give you a one time credit since you didn't know? Seems like a shady way to make money off people who don't read every single page of a contract. What bank is this so I can avoid them?
