Old school cash counting method vs digital - client feedback changed my process

I had a client tell me last month they felt I was too slow counting out their withdrawal by hand, so I started using a new digital cash counter for anything over $500. The counter is faster but I miss the double-check I got from manual counting, and I've caught a couple small errors since switching. Has anyone else changed their cash handling routine after getting pushback from customers?

Man, that's a tough spot! Still, are those small errors from the counter or did you maybe rush the manual check too?
