Can we talk about how long I used dull clippers before realizing the difference?
After 8 years cutting hair I finally swapped my fading Wahl blade for a fresh one on a busy Saturday and wondered why I had been fighting against every fade for so long - has anyone else had that moment where a basic tool upgrade changed everything?

The thing that got me was how dull blades actually change the way you hold your wrist without realizing it. Had to re-learn my grip completely after swapping blades because I was compensating for the drag without noticing. The fresh blade just glided through and suddenly my hand knew where to go again. Makes me wonder how many barbers out there are fighting physics every day just because they don't want to spend 20 bucks on a new blade. It's not even about the cost, it's about not knowing what you're missing until you try it.

Wait, hold on. You're telling me a dull blade can actually mess with your wrist positioning like that? That's wild. I've been cutting for like six years and I just thought I had a weird hitch in my left hand when I do tapers. Now I'm wondering if I been training myself to cut bad this whole time.
