Finally picked clippers over scissors for a tricky fade

I had a client last week who wanted a skin fade but had really thick, coarse hair. I was stuck deciding between my favorite shears and my Wahl Magic Clip. Went with the clippers and did the whole cut with guards and trimmers. It came out cleaner than I expected and saved me about 15 minutes. Anyone else change their go-to tool for a specific hair type?

@simontorres knows, I did the same thing with a dude who had crazy thick hair and it saved me.
