Had a customer ask why I don't use a straight razor on their beard line
Guy in his 60s sat down and told me his old barber used a straight razor every time and never had a issue. I explained I stick with clippers for the neck because one slip on a client talking too much can mean a bad day for both of us. Anyone else run into clients pushing for tools you know better than to use?

You ever have a buddy who swears by something and won't let it go? I had a friend who trimmed his own beard with a straight razor for years, one day the phone rang right as he was doing his jawline and he ended up with a scar that looks like a smiley face. He uses clippers now too.
