I finally switched from cheap clippers to a cordless Wahl and it's night and day

Used those $40 clippers from the beauty supply for two years and thought fades were just supposed to be tough. Got a Magic Clip a month ago and my blends are cleaner in half the time. Anyone else feel like good tools are worth the extra cash?

Hold up, do you actually think spending more money makes you better at cutting hair? I had a $30 clipper for like three years and my fades came out just fine once I learned how to use them right. Half the guys I know with fancy tools are still messing up their blends because they rely on the clipper doing the work for them. It's not the tool, it's the hand holding it. People get caught up thinking a price tag fixes their technique when really they just need more practice. Plus those cheap ones last forever and don't break the bank if you drop them on the floor.

A solid clipper just makes the whole process way smoother.
